There is no one in the country music industry that is more known for their love of animals than Miranda Lambert. It seems that she's always rescuing furry friends from ditches or picking up strays that cross her path. That's why the recent loss of her beloved horse is so sad and has completely broken the singer's heart.

Lambert tweeted the news, writing, "Had to put our great old horse down 2day. Animal love is so strong & it can really break your heart. Hope he is the one Jesus comes back on."

You can just feel the devastation she's feeling. It shows that the 'Mama's Broken Heart' hitmaker has a true, selfless love for animals, as the decision to put her horse down was probably extremely difficult, but in the horse's best interest.

Lambert also recently showed her care for furry creatures through her help in aiding animal rescue in Moore, Oklahoma. Whenever four-legged creatures are in need, you can bet that the singer will be opening up her arms and heart. In fact, her husband Blake Shelton has said that if her loving instincts for animals are any indication, their future children will be well-taken care of.

The songstress has been busy promoting her new album with trio Pistol Annies, and hopefully that will help keep her preoccupied as she mourns this big loss.
