The Band Perry just released “Postcards from Paris” off their debut album.  However, they want to assure us fans they’re working on new music.  They recently wrote with one of Kimberly’s songwriting heroes, Sheryl Crow, plus they’ve been writing a lot of music themselves.  Here’s what they had to say about some of their most recent help on their songwriting:

Carrie Underwood also chatted about song writing, but in a blog on her website.  She shared her thoughts regarding her songwriting by stating,

“I wrote my first song for my first album, and they were really nice to give me credit on that one, because I really didn’t do that much."

Carrie is feeling much more confident these days.  Her latest single, "Good Girl", she helped to write and has a ‘sassy’ new upbeat video as well that was just released.  Carrie's new album, ‘Blown Away,’ comes out on May 1st.

Billy Currington has assigned his fans some homework, especially those going to his concert at the Glens Falls Civic Center in a few weeks.  Though Billy has enjoyed his time off the road hitting the beach in Hawaii, he has also been busy prepping for his tour kick-off.  Billy actually tweeted the assignment for his fans so they'll be ready for his shows.

"OK, I want u to learn two songs for when u come to the shows this year," he said, "'Until You' and 'Party for Two.'"

Billy also let fans know he's going to need a girl to help him sing, "Party for Two," his 2004 duet with Shania Twain.  "Until You" appears on Billy's album, Enjoy Yourself.
