Meredith Vieira appeared in her last episode of the "Today" show yesterday.  She is leaving the show so that she can spend more time with her family.  The 57-year old called her final day, "a very bittersweet Wednesday morning."

Producers of the show, created a highlights video in honor of Vieira.  The video gave tribute to the five-years Vieira co-anchored beside Matt Lauer.  Carole King also was a special guest on the show to perform Vieira's favorite song from high school, "You've Got a Friend."  Matt Lauer had remembered Meredith stating once that she played it 30 times in a row.

Her exit off the show also included a live music video to the song "Don't Stop Believin'," by Journey.  The live performance included Vieira dancing from the studio through the control rooms of NBC, up some stairs, and outside to Rockefeller Plaza.  Ann Curry will take over the vacant spot left by Vieira.

Here is the video of her exit from yesterday's show:

On the "Today" show this morning, Ann Curry began her new post as she putted it perfectly, "I'm Ann Curry, in for, I guess, nobody this morning."
