Popular internet dating site Match.com is being sued by a user of the service.

The unidentified woman who is an "entertainment executive" claims she was sexually assaulted by a man she met through Match.com on a second date. Apparently this man has had prior sexual assault charges, and the alleged victim believes Match.com should be forced to screen those looking to join to make sure sexual predators are not allowed on the site. Match.com says they bear no responsibility in this matter. I guess a judge will have to figure this one out. Here's the full story from MSN.

Internet dating is dangerous, and I personally don't know why people do it. Just go out and meet people the old fashioned way, in person. Between the Internet and Redbox, people don't leave home for anything. The profile of the "clean and religious, tall dark and handsome man with a $100,000 income", or the "athletically built blond bombshell that doesn't smoke" could both end up looking like Jabba the Hutt, and be complete losers with criminal records longer then the Mississippi River. Here's some Jabba The Hutt video in case you run into him on your next Match.com or Plentyoffish.com date.
