Fourteen artists earned multiple 2016 CMA Awards nominations on Wednesday morning (Aug. 31), when nods were announced live on Good Morning America.

Country newcomer Maren Morris leads the way among CMA Awards nominees this year, securing a total of seven nominations: two for Album of the Year (as artist and producer of her debut disc Hero), one for Female Vocalist of the Year, one for Song of the Year (as a writer on her hit "My Church"), one for New Artist of the Year and two for Single of the Year (as the artist and producer of "My Church"). Last year's CMA Awards king, Chris Stapleton, trails close behind with six noms, for Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Single of the Year (as both artist and producer of his song "Nobody to Blame"), Musical Event of the Year (for "You Are My Sunshine" with his wife Morgane) and Music Video of the Year.

Eric Church and Keith Urban each earned five nominations. They'll both compete for Album of the Year (for which Urban is also nominated as a producer on his Ripcord album) and Male Vocalist of the Year, while Church has additional nods in the Song of the Year, Single of the Year and Music Video of the Year categories and Urban has Entertainer of the Year and Musical Event of the Year noms to his name.

The 2016 CMA Awards will air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on ABC on Nov. 2 at 8PM ET. Brad Paisley and Underwood will return as co-hosts, and performers and presenters will be announced in the coming months.
