Man Who Launched U.S.Peace Corps Has Died
The man who is responsible for launching the U.S. Peace Corps, R. Sargent Shriver, has died.
His full name was Robert Sargent Shriver Jr. He was 95, and had suffered from Alzheimer's disease for years. He was part of the Kennedy family and joined John F. Kennedy's White House.
