Man Swipes Money Out Of A Woman’s Hand

A woman that was going to make a purchase at the Kingsbury Cumberland Farms store had a strange, and not so nice surprise.

The woman was holding money in her hand, when a man went up to her, and allegedly stole it right out of her hand. Forty Dollars is the amount that was stolen. After the suspect grabbed the cash from the woman’s hand, he bolted towards the door and made his get away.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Department was called to the scene. They took the surveillance video and used it to get pictures of the suspect from it. After the pictures were posted, someone acknowledged that they knew who the suspect was and identified him.

The authorities took the person’s information, and proceeded to track down the suspect. It led them to a man from Greenwich. According to the story from WNYT, they arrested the suspect, Raymond Quell, who was being held without bail.
