Man Missing From Cook Adult Home

A Saratoga County man is missing this morning.  Be alert in the Mechanicville - Halfmoon area and help police locate Michael Russell.

Micheal Russell went missing from the Cook Adult Home on Prospect Street Wednesday night. Russell was last seen around 6:30 pm Wednesday night as he started his daily walk.  Police say that Russell does suffer from dementia and schizophrenia,and he will need his medication.

According to police information released, Michael Russell is 62 years old.  He is just over 5 feet tall, weights about160 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes.  He also walks with his head tilted to the side. Russell is believed to be wearing jeans, a blue button down shirt and sneakers.

Russell's nightly walk usually takes him to the Stewart's Shop on Central Avenue in Mechanicville.  Should you see Michael Russell, or have any information that will help the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office locate him, please call the Sheriff's Office at 885-6761.
