Man Killed In Car Chase On Thruway

A 25 year old man died in a car chase with New York State Police earlier this morning according to News 10 ABC.

The man who had stolen a Hyundai in Fonda was Ricardo Bernabeu Jr,a 25 year old from Rochester. He had originally stolen a Lexus, but ditched it in Fonda where he then stole the Hyundai.

Speeds in the Thruway chase tooped 100 mph.  Bernabeu Jr, skidded off near exit 23 where he struck a tree and was killed.
