You decide to turn yourself in by driving to the New York State Police barracks, but you do it after you have a few drinks.

This is just what a man from Pattersonville allegedly did.

The story, which was on Newschannel 13, mentioned that 42-year-old Dominick Lombardi drove drunk to the police barracks in Brunswick because he allegedly violated an order of protection, so he turned himself in. After he was given a sobriety test, it was found that he was just about three times the legal limit of alcohol in his system. Lombardi’s Blood Alcohol Content was measured at 0.23 percent. If he drove from Pattersonville to Brunswick, that’s about a 35 mile trip.

He’ll be going back to court again, but is currently free on bail.
