Starbucks drinks are quite expensive and recently a man went out of his way to see how expensive they could get.

Logan A. Warren of Texas receieved a birthday certificate for a free drink with as many additional add ons at no charge. Warren saw this as a challenge and proceeded to order the most expensive drink he could.

Warren starts out with the largest cup the company has, a 31 ouncer called a Trenta. He ordered a  Java Chip Frappucino which would cost $4.75 then added 16 shots of espresso adding up to $12,  a shot of soy milk costing  60 cents , a drop of caramel flavoring for 50 cents, a scoop of banana puree for an additional dollar, another scoop of strawberry puree costing 60 cents,a couple vanilla beans for 50 more cents, a dash of Matcha powder for 75 cents, a little  protein powder for 50 cents and a caramel and mocha drizzle to cap it off for 60 cents. It all adds up to a whopping $23.60.

When asked how it tasted, Warren said  "Tolerable, but not good. Imagine a coffee-based health food smoothie that will put you in the hospital if you drink it all." Warren didn't drink it all, the drink contained 1, 400 mgs of caffeine and too much sugar to even calculate. The amount of caffeine contained would add up to about 14 cups of coffee.

I am a man who loves my coffee but even i don't blame him for not finishing that drink. Plus the fact that it's a Starbucks drink, I don't blame him. Scottie B runs on Dunkin!
