Man Busted After Doing 103 In Work Zone On Northway

Holy cow! It is amazing that a worker did not get killed. This kind of news is insane to say the least. Police gunned the driver on radar going 103 through an active work zone in the Clifton park area of the Northway.No crews were injured but he was having trouble holding his lane at the high speeds ad knocked over a bunch of cones according to authorities. The police suspended hot pursuit for safety reasons and busted the driver who was identified as 31-year-old Ryan Spiak of Averill Park. Spiak jumped off the Northway and crashed his vehicle in Troy. He fled on foot but was apprehended.  He was booked on a slew of charges including drug possession and is jailed in Saratoga County on $20,000 bail.
