Man Accused Of Stealing Truck Was Caught Through DNA

A 44-year-old Hudson Falls man was arrested earlier this week for allegedly stealing a truck in Queensbury last May, all because of his DNA.

Gary Piskothy was interviewed by authorities, after they found him sleeping near the vehicle. After investigating, it was discovered that Piskothy’s DNA matched DNA that was found in the 2011 Chevy Silverado.

According to the story from WNYT, because Piskothy also had some prior felony convictions, he was sent to the Warren County Jail, and he will be returning to court later this month.
