Luke Bryan is spending his second week at No.1 on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart this week with “I Don’t Want This Night to End.”  Luke digs the unusual melody to the song and says, “It’s probably the furthest I’ve went from a country-sounding track ever.  It’s really not a country track.  But then you got my old country voice on it and that’ll simmer down the most-craziest of tracks.”

Jennifer Nettles can be seen this Sunday during the Super Bowl.  She has paired up with Pepsi MAXfor a brand new 30-second commercial that will debut during the big game.  A little sneak peak to the commercial?  Jennifer will be singing Hank Williams' classic “Your Cheatin’ Heart” while a competitor's driver hopes to quickly pay for a delicious Pepsi MAX without anyone seeing him.

Chris Young is hosting the CMA’s Third Annual Keep the Music Playing All-Stars Concert tonight.  The concert will be held in Nashville.  The CMA donates half the net proceeds.  This year’s check will be made to Metro Nashville Public Schools.

Jake Gyllenhaal is reportedly the inspiration to Taylor Swift’s upcoming album.  The two supposedly dated in late 2010, if you recall and according to an unnamed friend, Taylor is still “haunted by that relationship.”  The friend also claims that Gyllenhaal “totally screwed with her mind.”  It wouldn’t, of course, be unlike Taylor to write about previous, failed relationships.  She has written songs about Joe Jonas.
