Lou’s List Of Five Places For Breakfast
We’ve all been told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
For me, it’s a couple of cups of coffee and a bowl of cereal. I try to go out and have breakfast about every other week, either with my wife, Linda, or just getting together with my friend, Norm. I thought I would share a list of the places that we like to head to for breakfast. There's nothing fancy about them, just places to go in a relaxed atmosphere.

5) Ihop – International House Of Pancakes
If you’re in the mood for pancakes, a good place to go.
4) McDonalds
I really like the good old Egg McMuffin. I had their coffee recently, and it is much better than it used to be.
3) Bob’s Diner
A Watervliet landmark at 929 19th Street. Bob’s isn’t a very big place, but the food and service is good.
This is a new place on Central Avenue next to Kurver Kreme, near Fuller Road in Colonie. We’ve been there a couple of times, and enjoy eating there. If you love bacon, this is the place to go. When I had it, it was cooked perfectly.
1) Inga’s Diner
A Colonie landmark at 39 Fuller Road. My dad used to take us there once in a while. It’s an old fashioned place with very good food. It’s a little bit smaller than bob’s Diner.

The order of the places that I listed doesn't reflect an order of favorites. it's just five suggestions from me. Whenever we go out to breakfast, it’s usually because it’s in a convenient location. Their menu prices are usually reasonable, too.
Some of my favorite menu choices are a little on the "fattening" side, but if it's only done once in awhile, it's fine. Most of them have alternative healthy breakfast choices, too. I know there are hundreds of very good places in the Albany area in addition to the ones that I mentioned. Where do you go when you go out to breakfast?
