Best Places Around Albany To Get Ice Cream In The Summer – Lou’s Picks
It’s no secret that I like ice cream. I have been known to go out in a snowstorm to Stewarts and get a single dip cone, usually my favorite, chocolate. Now that it’s summertime, it’s nice to go to one of the many seasonal ice cream places. It might be raining a lot, but we all know it’s going to get hot. I do admit, I am a little partial to Kurver Kreme on Central Avenue in Colonie, because that’s where my dad would take us for ice cream. You have to love childhood memories. So I thought I would share my list of those places with you.
1) Kurver Kreme – Colonie
I was so excited about them opening, I took the picture just before they did open, complete with snow on the ground.
2) Guptill’s Coney Express – Latham/Cohoes
3) Country Drive In – Clifton Park/Cresent
4) On The Farm – Latham, Almost Watervliet
5) Highbridge Twist – Schenectady
