Lonestar – ‘I’m Already There’

Tonight, November 13, 2012 WGNA welcomes the reunion of Richie McDonald with the original members of Lonestar. 

Back when I was the host of WGNA's 'Cryin' Lovin' or Leavin' Show,' in the early 2000's, it seemed that Lonestar's music dominated the request list. Songs like 'Amazed' 'Not A Day Goes By' 'Mr. Mom' 'What About Now' and 'Let's Be Us Again' were heard nightly.  However, one song seemed to stand above the rest, especially in the wake of 9/11, 'I'm Already There.'  The song resonated the feelings of millions of family members who were separated from loved ones during the war.

Lonestar appears at Upstate Concert Hall in Clifton Park, November 13, 2012.  By the way, listen for their new single 'The Countdown,' their harmonies sound just as good as when they were big stars 10 years ago!
