Local Woman Was Allegedly Wanted In Pennsylvania

A 29-year-old Philmont woman that used to live in Pennsylvania, was stopped by New York State Police in Claverack for allegedly using her cell phone while she was driving.

That traffic stop led to more than just a traffic ticket for Sandy Diehl. During the traffic stop, it was discovered that Diehl was wanted in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, because she had a court appearance which she allegedly failed to appear for. The court appearance was for charges of Reckless Driving and Driving Under The Influence.

According to the story from CBS 6 Albany, Diehl was arrested and sent to the Columbia County Jail. She will be extradited to Pennsylvania.
