It happened in Guilderland on the New York State Thruway. It wasn’t a big deal... at first.

In the story from the Times Union, when the troopers went to talk to the man, they reported that they smelled pot inside of the man’s car. That’s when they conducted a search of his car and allegedly discovered four grams of hash and more than 100 grams of marijuana in his vehicle.

37-year-old Mark McBiles from Greenfield Center was arrested and charged with a couple of misdemeanors. The charges were Criminal Possession Of Marijuana and Criminal Possession Of A Controlled Substance. He received an appearance ticket and was released.
