Mom Works At Local Strip Club While 2 Year Old Roams Street

Local mom Chelsea Sawyer left her TWO young children home alone for the entire night while she was reportedly working.

The youngest was found roaming the streets naked this morning. What should happen to a mother that does this? It's a question that many people are asking tonight as this story get discussed locally. Chelsea Sawyer of Rensselaer wasn't home when police say they received a call about a 2-year-old, without clothes, roaming the streets around 10:30 am.

According to News Channel 13 officers then found the child's 3-year-old brother home alone. Police say the children were left home from 10:30 at night, until Wednesday morning, while she went to work and then went out after work.

She is facing two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and to be honest, it could have been much worse. Thank goodness someone spotted the child and police responded swiftly and accordingly.

Update: A previous version of this article specified that she was working at Nite Moves, as reported by CBS 6 and News 10. Nite Moves has said she has not worked at there since April.
