There’s also a 14-year-old boy who's allegedly involved with assisting the man. Charges against him are still pending.

In the story from WNYT, Cecilio Persen and the teen boy are accused of going into the apartment in search of Persen’s 15-year-old daughter.

It all started with a call to the Gloversville Police Department about some shots fired at an apartment. This was on Monday around 5 p.m. When they got there, the police found that doors in the apartment had been broken down, and other furnishings had been damaged. They also noticed that Persen and the boy allegedly had a hammer and pellet gun. The two then fled the scene. That prompted a statewide search for the two.

Persen returned later in the evening and turned himself in to authorities. Persen’s daughter was found by detectives, hiding in the attic. An investigation is still going on.
