It's always cool to be able to use these blogs to give some props to local established musicians, and up-and coming-ones as well.  And there is some GREAT talent in this area.  Take Ally-Crowley Duncan:Wait!  What am I saying?  Up and coming?  I think she's past that stage. Ally-Crowley Duncan has actually played the bagpipes at Fenway Park!  She's entered competitions.  In fact, she's making it her mission to make bagpipes "cool".   She has started a group called "Pipin' Hot", where she has even written out the music for the brass and sax sections!   They did a story on her on Fox 23.  This sums it up very well!
