Local Countryfest Artist Profile

Once again we highlight another one of the premier country bands of the area, and we've enjoyed a long relationship with this one-- the Back 40 Band.

I can remember bringing my mother to see these guys years ago at a bar in Ballston Spa, and she raved about them. I'm sure she would rave about them now too ( you're mother's always right, correct?)

They've gone thru many transformations, but the essence of what they are remains the same- a talented, rock solid band totally committed to Country music. You can catch them for FREE at the block party on Pearl Street at 3PM

Formed In 1998 The Back40 Band has proven to be one of the top country groups in

the Northeast. 2 time Northeast CMA entertainers of the year. Also awarded Best Of the Capital Region 2006,2007,2008,2009,2010,and Best Of Metroland 2006,2007,2008,2009.

The group has served as opening act for over 40 National Country Acts, and have graced our 'GNA stage 3 times as Countryfest openers

They recently performed July 4^th at the biggest Fourth in the North at the Empire State Plaza performing for over 20,000 people
