Luke Hoag, a student in Hoosick Falls Central School District is once again looking to pay it forward and raise money for Make -A -Wish.  He needs our help!

When I saw this story, I knew we needed to help Luke.  As a baby Luke Hoag was diagnosed with a brain tumor.  As he traveled for treatment to and from Boston, his family was granted a Make-A-Wish trip.  Luke choose Disney World.  The trip he said changed his life and now he wants to pay it forward and make sure other kids going through what he went through can get their wish.

Luke is taking part in Macy’s “Believe Day,” a program that will donate $2 to Make-A-Wish for every letter to Santa delivered.  Luke has until December 9th to collect his letters.  He has a goal of 25,000 to raise $50,000.  Last year Luke was able to raise $15,000.  To hear more about Luke’s story, watch this video:

Make this a holiday event with the whole family.  Everyone can write one.  If you own a daycare or are a teacher, have your class write letters to Santa to help Luke!

Kids helping Kids is something we need to highlight and promote!  Great job Luke – I hope you surpass your goal this year too!!  We here at GNA are rooting for you!
