Local Batallion Heading To Afghanistan – Come Home Safe
I have the utmost respect for the men and women who serve our nation and keep us safe in the US Armed Services and will say a prayer for some of our local soldiers who will be deployed to Afghanistan for 9 months. The Utica, NY based 2nd Battalion, 108th Infantry with soldiers from Utica, Gloversville, Glenville, Morrisonville, Ogdensburg and Saranac Lake will be heading into active duty in Afghanistan. We thank you all for serving your country, and wish you all a safe and happy return home soon.
