Live Music Coming To The Mohawk River

Rivers Casino is expanding and offering even more along the Mohawk River. It was announced that the first part of the plan has been completed and more amenities are on the way. The Rivers Casino in Schenectady has announced the completion of the Marina at Mohawk Harbor. Next spring, patrons will be able to access the casino through the Mohawk River. There are now 50 boat slips available and access from the slips right to the casino doors.

There is more to the development than just the boat slips. The area will feature a kayak launch too. In addition, they are in the process of building an amphitheater for live concerts and shows along the water. There are also plans to add apartments and office space too.

This is the largest waterfront development project in Upstate New York. It's nice to see the Mohawk River waterfront being built up. This will be nice for the continued improvements to the city of Schenectady.
