Is 80's pop icon Lionel Richie going country?  Well, sort of!  Richie is in the process of making a duets album with a number of country stars doing versions of Richie's classics.

Songs include:

"Stuck on You "with Darius Rucker

"Sail On" with Tim McGraw

"Easy" with Willie Nelson

"You are" with Blake Shelton

"Deep River Woman" with Little Big Town

"All Night Long "with Jimmy Buffet

Plus songs with Sugarland Jennifer Nettles and The Zac Brown Band which have not been recorded yet.

Also included on the album will be a duet of "Lady" with Kenny Rogers that was a #1 hit for Kenny back in 1980.

I am always a fan of tribute albums and albums like this that give a different spin on classic tunes. Can't wait to hear it when it is released this summer!

The disc is being produced by famed country producer Tony Brown who has produced albums for Reba, George Strait, Vince Gill and Brooks & Dunn.
