Lee Brice’s ‘A Woman Like You’ Becomes First Number One Over His History Making ‘Love Like Crazy’
Lee Brice has hit Number One for the first time on the weekly Billboard Country Music charts. However, it’s not the first time he’s been at Number One.
In 2010, Lee Brice made history when his song ‘Love Like Crazy’ spent more time on the charts than any other single. Due to it’s long run, it ended up becoming the No. 1 single of the year in 2010, even though it only peaked at No. 3 on the weekly charts.
Now, Brice can celebrate again as ‘A Woman Like You’ has brought him his first No. 1 hit on the weekly Billboard Country Singles chart. If you think about it, it’s quite an ironic accomplishment for a new artist to have the No. 1 single of the year before having his first No. 1 weekly hit.
Moreover, Brice also made history as the co-writer of ‘More Than A Memory’ with Billy Montana and Kyle Jacobs. ‘More Than A Memory’ released by Garth Brooks in 2007 made history as the first single to ever debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Singles chart. I think Lee Brice is destined to be a superstar!
