Every year on the 4th of July weekend, NASCAR heads to Daytona. This year, Lee Brice will be joining the festivities.

The singer of number one hits like "I Drive Your Truck," "Hard To Love" and "A Woman Like You" will perform an hour-long pre-race concert prior to the 56th annual Coke Zero 400 Powered By Coca-Cola NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Saturday, July 5 at Daytona International Speedway.

Brice is also known for his songwriting skills not only for himself but also for other major stars like Taste of Country Music Festival 2015 headliner Tim McGraw, the Eli Young Band and Garth Brooks. Along with local writer Billy Montana from Voorheesville and Kyle Jacobs, Brice co-wrote Garth's 2007 hit "More Than A Memory" which became the first single in country music history to debut at number 1.

The Daytona speedway concert will be staged on pit road in the tri-oval area of the race track known as the "World Center of Racing."

Brice will be in our area later this summer when he and Cole Swindell join Luke Bryan on his That's My Kind Of Night Tour at SPAC on August 17.
