Leave Your Costumes Home If You Go To Certain Albany Area Movie Theatres

Part of me hates to even mention this, but it was in the Times Union this morning, so I thought I'd pass the word.

It's a horrible sign of the times, but given what we've just experienced in Colorado, there are movie theaters around here that are taking security very seriously.

According to a quotation by Regal Cimena authorities, "moviegoers should expect stricter controls over character attire and accessories at our theaters"

I'm not sure specifically what they mean by "character attire", but you should definitely use discretion and  not try to "test the waters" . They aren't messing around at Regal, and they are the biggest one in the area.

Again, it's almost sickening to have to write this, but just in case you are one of those folks who likes to dress in character for certain flicks, you might want to think twice.   Peace, out!
