LeAnn Rimes Engaged

It was a very Merry Christmas for LeAnn Rimes indeed, as she got herself a nice new 5 karat rock on her ring finger!Rimes and actor Eddie Cibrian got engaged over the holidays, her rep told People magazine.

"Yes, they were engaged over the holidays and are very happy,"

Rimes, 28, and Cibrian, 37, were spotting in Malibu today where she proudly showed off her new ring - said to be  5-karat oval diamond set in rose gold fleur-de-lis connected to the band, according to a source.

The two met in 2009 while filming a Lifetime movie, Northern Lights. The two were both married to different people at the time they met.

"We make mistakes and we learn from them, but we're human. We fell in love," she said in November of Cibrian. "We're really happy in what we feel privately."
