Lawyer Against Drunk Diving Gets a DWI
Ron Bell is a New Mexico lawyer who is known for suing drunk drivers, now the shoe is on the other foot.
In a story from A.P., He is being convicted of driving while intoxicated. Back in June, he was pulled over, failed some tests for sobriety. Besides the DWI charge, he is also being charged for speeding and failure to maintain a traffic lane.
In another report, it showed he had also had amphetamine in his system. Ron takes the prescription, Adderall, which contains amphetamine. This is for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
Mr. Bell’s punishment is to pay a fine, perform community service, must attend DWI school and also use an interlock ignition device in his vehicle for one year.
