Law and Order SVU-The Cavotta Connection [PHOTOS]

Law and Order SVU has always been one of my favorite shows. Like many of you, I have binge watched episodes for weekends at a time. But what you may not know is that my Dad worked on the set for eight seasons.

My Dad worked as a Union Set Dresser on the set of Law and Order SVU. He was in charge of making sure all the right props were in the right positions in each scene. It was a pretty cool job. It did have its downside for me though as an avid viewer. I would just be getting into the plot, trying to figure out who was responsible for the heinous acts and then - BAM - my last name would appear on the locker in the squad room (pictures). If that wasn't bad enough, in some episodes, my Dad's mug shot was used in a series of pictures for the victim to choose from. Fortunately, he was never picked.
