Are you ready for some leaf peeping? This is a drive you need to check out!

Travel & Leisure Magazine recently name their top 15 fall foliage drives in America, and Lake Placid landed at #8 on the list! The article says the Adirondacks '...offers a dazzling palette of autumnal colors.'

The route they are talking about suggests:

Start in Lake Placid and go northeast on Route 86 along the high cliffs of the Ausable River...Pass Jay and Keene, continue up the mountain along Cascades Lake, then head back into Lake Placid.

If you want to check out some Vermont foliage, the Green Mountain and Mad River Byways  landed at #7 on the list.

Honestly, once the colors peak in the Adirondacks you can pretty much drive anywhere for an amazing fall foliage tour. That applies to alot of points as well in the Capital Region, not to mention the Berkshire's in Massachusetts as well!.
