After a fire in April, the plan was to open part of Lake Local in Saratoga for the summer. There were too many setbacks so their plans changed. Now they want to turn the space into more than just a restaurant and bar. The owners of Lake Local along Saratoga Lake have big plans to rebuild the restaurant and expand it into something bigger. According to the Daily Gazette, the city's Zoning Board of Appeals will decide tonight whether Lake Local's application will be accepted. They want to build a new restaurant, bed and breakfast and expanded marina with a board shop.

The owners say the restaurant will seat 444 people, the marina will contain 108 slips and a 1200 square foot board shop. They will also feature a 35 room inn. This all according to the plans that were submitted.

The Zoning Board meets tonight (Monday July 23rd) at 7pm at City Hall on Broadway in Saratoga Springs.
