If you have lived in the area for any amount of time I know you have have heard of Lake George, New York.

Lake George in the heart of the Adirondacks is approximately 26 miles long. The views are breathtaking and Canada Street, the main drag in Lake George looks like a mob scene from Memorial Day until Labor Day. Millions of people from all over the US and the world flock to see her beauty.

I am one of those people. I grew up close to Lake George and my hometown Fort Ann actually touches a piece of it and the town owns and operates a public beach on Lake George at Pilot Knob.

Have you ever played golf at the Sagamore or Top of The World and seen the majestic views. The always remind me how lucky we are to have this treasure so close to us.

If you love motorcycles it as a great place to take a ride, and Lake George also hosts the annual Americade week long bike rally which attracts 30,000 to 40,000 bikes of all varieties to the small little town with worldwide attraction. Lake George is truly, a Queen and a treasure for all of us.
