Lady A’s Hillary Scott’s Fiance Is An Albany Area Native [VIDEO][EXCLUSIVE]

is one of the hottest acts in country music today. Their female co-lead singer is Hillary Scott, the daughter of country singer Linda Davis.

Recently Hillary announced her engagement to Chris Tyrell. Chris is the drummer for new country trio Eden's Edge currently and they performed at the Sean and Richie Charity golf tournament at Stadium a few weeks ago. Chris' Uncle Jim sent us an email at Country 107.7, WGNA-FM that was awesome. Scott's fiance may have a familiar face to many of you when you get a chance to see him. He worked the rock climbing tower at WGNA Countryfest for 5 years, before heading to Nashville to pursue his music career. He is an Albany area native, and his family still lives here. Chris' Uncle Jim Tyrell owns Climb Time, and they set up at WGNA Countryfest each year. Chris has been busy since he pursued his music dreams in Nashville and has played drums for Love and Theft, Lady Antebellum, Josh Kelly and Luke Bryan in the recent past. Congrats to our very own local boy who is on a professional roll in Nashville and a soon to be personal roll as the husband of the lovely and talented Hillary Scott from Lady Antebellum.
