Breastfeeding moms will find it easier than ever to feed their child while out in public, especially when attending shows in Albany and Schenectady.   Newly created "Lactation Lounges" will be available at Proctors and the Palace Theater.

These lounges will offer privacy and comfort while breastfeeding or pumping. According to CBS 6, they'll be available during business hours for employees, and during show hours for guests. The Lactation Lounges are sponsored by St. Peter's Health Partners

While all the specifics have yet to be revealed a typical room includes a refrigerator, sink, cleaning supplies, table, and comfortable chair. The ability to pump throughout the day allows mothers to keep up their milk supply and enables them to save and take home the nutrient-rich milk they have pumped.
