1956- After Carl Smith's introduction, Johnny Cash makes his Grand Ole Opry debut.  Backstage, The Man in Black also meets his future wife, June Carter, for the first time.  Ironically, at the time June Carter is married to Carl Smith, together they are the parents of '90s singer Carlene Carter.

Charlie Louvin, 1927. Half of The Louvin Brothers 'My Baby's Gone.' Pursues a solo career after his brother Ira dies in a car accident.  Charlie dies in 2011 at the age of 83.
