Kenny Chesney has announced the massive 2016 Spread the Love Tour. The superstar revealed 11 stadium dates in a press release on Oct. 27, and a full slate of dates in the weeks and months that followed. Once again he's pairing with Miranda Lambert for the stadium shows.

Lambert appeared at Chesney's 2015 show at Soldier Field in Chicago, which inspired him to invite her on the upcoming dates.

“Miranda was such an awesome addition in Chicago,” Chesney says. “When I was thinking about what I wanted to do this year, how to keep the energy we had and give the fans something truly great musically, she just made sense. She’s a songwriter, a great singer and she loves music every bit as much as I do. In a stadium, those things matter.”

The core lineup for the shows will also include Sam Hunt and Old Dominion, with Jake Owen or Little Big Town replacing Hunt on select shows. Chesney gave Hunt his first cut with "Come Over" and has been following his rise to becoming one of the most exciting young artists in country music.

"The second I heard Sam's demo for 'Come Over,' I knew he was onto something very unique," Chesney observes. "Watching him develop as an artist, seeing his songwriting evolve — and knowing how he brings it when he gets on stage makes him a perfect act to come out with us.”

Old Dominion have already proved their mettle in front of Chesney's massive audiences in 2015, on a tour that set new attendance records in nine markets.

“There is nothing like the energy of a stadium show,” Chesney says. “Old Dominion kicked the whole summer off last year with the best vibe. If we’re talking about Spread the Love, those guys are all about it. If there’s anything I want to see this summer, it’s that attitude that really defines what’s going on.”

“After last year, we’ve got a bar to clear, but I am fired up… and missing the fans already," Chesney states. He is also slated to headline the 2016 Taste of Country Music Festival, which takes place June 10-12 at Hunter Mountain in upstate New York.
