I never thought I would give anyone top billing over Paul McCartney, but country music's very own Kelsea Ballerini is part of a group of internationally known artists, including a famous Beatle, to sing about climate change.

According to the Examiner.com, there is a brand-new song released almost in the spirit of "We Are The World" to bring attention to climate change. There's only one country star that I see listed- Kelsea!

This is a theme song for the earth with proceeds to be donated to the Friends of the Earth US and the United Nation Foundation.  It's available on iTunes among other places, and if it gets streamed or shared with anyone, the money still goes directly to the fund.  They want to make sure that fossil fuels aren't used and carbon emissions are controlled.

Here are  the stars contributing to the song, according to the article:

Fergie, Jon Bon Jovi, Sheryl Crow, Leona Lewis, Colbie Caillat, Natasha Bedingfield, Sean Paul, Johnny Rzeznik, Krewella, UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Angelique Kidjo, Kelsea Ballerini, Nicole Scherzinger, Christina Grimmie, Victoria Justice and Q’Orianka Kilcher.

Wow, that's a definite feather in Kelsea's cap, don't you think?  No Taylor? No Carrie?

Maybe this is an incomplete list of artists, but Kelsea's the only one I could find.

Here's the song-please share it and help save the world! If you want to purchase it, here's the iTunes link

(oh yea, and once again,  the most famous artist in the world is also on the song- Paul McCartney.  McCartney as a footnote?  What am I, NUTS???)
