Keith Urban Wins Two Australian Awards & More in Casey’s Taste of Country

Keith Urban received two Country Music Awards of Australia Saturday night.  He won the “Sanity Top Selling Album of the Year” for ‘Get Closer’ and “Top Male Vocalist” from the Country Music Association of Australia.  Keith has a new song out on the soundtrack for a new movie, “Act of Valor.”  The soundtrack also includes tracks from Keith Urban, Sugarland, Jake Owen, Trace Adkins, Hunter Hayes, Montgomery Gentry and a few more.

Montgomery Gentry has canceled one of their upcoming shows.  The particular show was to be on February 24^th out in Des Moines, Iowa at the Val Air Ballroom.  No explanation has been given for the cancellation, but the duo is expected the following night in Clear Lake still.  Refunds apparently are being issued to ticket holders for the canceled show. 

The Eli Young Band is heading out on the road later this year for their Keep on Dreamin’ Tour.  They are also expected on the road as an opener for Tim McGraw and Faith Hill during the month of March in Australia.  To keep up with their crazy schedule, check out their official website.
