If you watch alot of football like me, you have seen the ads for the Super Bowl Halftime Show on February 6th which this year finally has an act that is in their prime, The Black Eyed Peas. Not saying I don't like Bruce Springsteen or The Who or Tom Petty, but it's nice to see they finally got an act that's hot on the charts now and not 20 years ago. I by no means am a huge BEP fan, but watching Fergie dance around is enough for me, but that's another story.

For us country fans we can enjoy the pre-game entertainment as Keith Urban will be one of the acts along with pop-rockers Maroon 5.  Keith is no stranger to playing to football crowds as he played halftime during the Dallas Cowboys-New Orleans Saints game on Thanksgiving Day.

Keith is a big fan of the NFL and he thanks his wife, Nicole Kidman for that:

"She's a big NFL fan, and she sort of turned me on to it. Since I'm from Australia, it was all sort of new to me."

This perfomance will be a preview of sorts as to what you can expect when Keith comes to town this summer to play the Times Union Center in July.
