It's not just razor blades, pins, shards of glass and other things that you need to be mindful of when looking through your kid's Halloween bag.  A dangerous, yet legal "tropical fusion gummi" candy could be making it's way into bags, police say.

The New York Daily News has the story that law enforcement officials are warning parents about gummi candies and lollipops containing cannabidiol, also known as CBD potentially making their way to trick-or-treaters this Halloween, according WRAL.  Complete with orange and black packaging, it's available just in time for Halloween and unless you take the time to look carefully over the packaging, it's deceptively innocent looking.

While CBD doesn't have the same effects as tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, found in marijuana, it is thought to leave you with a euphoric feeling. CBD isn't regulated by the United States Food and Drug Administration and isn't illegal to purchase.
