Kate Gosselin and Kids Get One Night Special on TLC Without Jon

I watched every single episode of Jon and Kate Plus 8 on TLC, and although I totally saw that nasty divorce coming, I was sad to see their family fall apart.

The people who started their reality show journey several years ago were not the same Jon and Kate that ended their marriage in an ugly public battle.

I sometimes wonder what the family is up to now.  I must not be alone, because TLC has decided to air a one night special in June that will get fans of the reality TV star and her clan "up to speed on what's changed in the family" since the network last visited the Gosselin group over two years ago.

"With the twins now 13, and the sextuplets about to turn 10, Cara, Mady, Alexis, Hannah,Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel join their mother in this update about their life as a family today," a TLC press release read.

The release added that, throughout the special, we'll learn "what's changed in the family, how the kids have grown, what their interests are now, and what the latest is on Kate's life and career."

What's more, the hour will "take a look back at some of the most memorable and poignant family moments from the past several years, and will highlight what the day-to-day routine has been for Kate and the kids since we last saw them."

There was no mention of Jon in the press release, and given the ugliness of the divorce, I can understand why.  Jon has notably tried to keep himself, and the children out of the spotlight since the end of the reality show, and their marriage.

I, for one, can't wait to see how the family is doing.
