This morning, a GNA listener called Brian and Chrissy to talk about the rumors that another Chick-Fil-A was coming to the Capital Region based upon a sign on a property in Speigletown.  Nilcole, who lives across the street from the place that had the entire area buzzing, told GNA that despite the wishful thinking of tens of thousands of people, it's just a joke that someone played on her in-laws.

Yesterday morning a picture surfaced on Facebook of a sign for Chick-Fil-A 'Landing Soon' in the Hamlet of Speigletown located in Rensselaer County.

WGNA, which broke the rumor, watched it go viral within a few short hours, ultimately being picked up by Times Union food blogger, Steve Barnes.

Nicole, who lives across the street from the place that had the whole area clucking, claims that her husband's parents live on the property and that friends of theirs occasionally leave signs on their lawn as a joke.  Unlike the others, this one really took off.

'My husband is going to take the sign down today' she told GNA adding that she didn't want it to get 'Huge, with everyone flocking to Speigletown thinking there's a Chick-Fil-A!"
