Joyful Noise- A Great Movie With Amazing Music From Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah

If you're looking for a family friendly movie with lots of laughs and great music, check out 'Joyful Noise' with Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah!

The movie is full of inspirational music, life lessons and funny one-liners that appeal to, and not offend, people of all ages.  The movie opens with a shot of a choir director played by Kris Kristofferson, who is married to Dolly Parton's character in the movie. After Kris' character dies in the movie, the church gives the choir director position to the character of Queen Latifah, instead of Dolly Parton, who thinks she's a shoe-in for a replacement.  As you can imagine, the drama and laughs never stop.

One of my favorite scenes in the movie is the song that Dolly Parton sings while reminiscing about her late husband, played by Kris Kristofferson.  Enjoy this clip of 'From Here To The Moon And Back' and go see 'Joyful Noise!'
