Jon Pardi made a visit to ABC's Good Morning America in New York Thursday morning (March 23) to perform his latest No. 1 hit, "Dirt on My Boots." The singer brought his traditional country flair to the Big Apple for a nearly four-minute performance that had the New York City audience dancing and clapping along.

Dressed in his traditional garb — jeans, a button-down shirt, cowboy boots and a cowboy hat — Pardi sang his hit single alongside his band, which was comprised of a fiddle, pedal steel, electric and bass guitars and a drummer. His energetic performance and unique vocals showcased just why the singer was recently named winner of a 2017 ACM Award for New Male Vocalist of the Year ahead of the April 2 awards ceremony.

In early March, Pardi learned he received his second No. 1 hit with "Dirt on My Boots," which was written by Rhett Akins, Jesse Frasure and Ashley Gorley and follows Pardi’s previous No. 1, another boots song in “Head Over Boots.” Both tunes are featured on his No. 1 album, California Sunrise.

"Having two back-to-back No. 1's is unbelievable," Pardi said in a press release. "It's been so great to have an album people believe in."
