There's no better time for a salute to Johnny Cash than now! The recent opening of the Johnny Cash Museum in downtown Nashville and the unveiling of the Johnny Cash postage stamp from the United States Post Office, reminds us that the Man in Black is still, and will always, be relevant.

Friday, June 28, 2013 the Spirit of Johnny Cash will come to life again at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville, Tennessee. A proud connection to the Albany-Saratoga, New York area, Harold Ford and the Cash Band will honor the Country Music Hall of Famer in Music City U.S.A..

We took a moment to ask Ford some questions about the big debut in Nashville.

-How do you feel about bringing the Spirit of Johnny Cash show to Nashville? We are thankful for the opportunity to bring the music of Johnny Cash and June Carter back to Nashville, Tennessee.

-What will be different about this show, than the shows people may have seen in the Northeast? We feel that the spirit and energy will come together with a very special meaning on the stage at TPAC.

-What do you hope people will say or feel when they leave your concert? That they felt an authentic and emotional connection to Johnny Cash and June Carter.

-Have you seen or heard any response from family or friends of Johnny Cash or June Carter? Yes, we understand that some of the members of the Cash family are attending, as well as personal friends  of Johnny's.

By the way, there is a special $10 discount ticket offer, if you use the code "JOHNNY." http://patron.tpac.org/promo/JOHNNY
