The Republican presidential candidate and current Governor of Ohio is coming to the Capital Region for a rally on Monday.

According to The Times Union, Kasich will be at The Saratoga City Center, on Monday, April 11. This will be the latest of a series of campaign stops by candidates ahead of the state primaries, which are going to be held on April 19. The rally will be a town-hall style event and it is starting at 5:30 p.m.

Before Kasich stops in Saratoga for his rally, he will be at LaSalle Institute in Troy for a Town Hall meeting at 3 p.m.

Kasich isn't the only presidential candidate that hopes to make an impression before voters hit the polls for the New York State primaries. Other candidates have flocked to the Capital Region as well. Hillary Clinton was in Cohoes this past Monday, and Senator Ted Cruz was in Scotia on Thursday at Mekeel Christian Academy.
